We are defending against a denial-of-service attack, and will update status again shortly.
Update: the site is back up, but we are continuing to defend against and recover from this attack.

Update (9:46a): As we recover, users will experience some longer load times and slowness. This includes timeouts to API clients. We’re working to get back to 100% as quickly as we can.

Ha! Developer Allen Leung made an App for the iphone called “Hottest Girls”..It was for sale in the App’s store for a while but once apple found out it featured topless women, they quickly snatched it from the site then released this statement.

“Apple will not distribute applications that contain inappropriate content, such as pornography.

The developer of this application added inappropriate content directly from their server after the application had been approved and distributed, and after the developer had subsequently been asked to remove some offensive content. This was a direct violation of the terms of the iPhone Developer Program. The application is no longer available on the App Store.”

Story via Wikipedia

On March 31, 2009, a full length DVD-quality workprint of the film without a timecode or watermark, with some unfinished effects shots, was leaked online. The print contained a reference to Rising Sun Pictures, an Australian visual effects company working on the film. Within a day, the film had been downloaded 75,000 times, a sum comparable to when The Dark Knights DVD was leaked. Since the workprint had forensic marks, the studio may be able to determine the source of the leak but it has not disclosed any findings. The FBI and the MPAA are investigating the illegal posting. Executive producer Thomas Rothman noted the leaked version lacked the ten minutes added during pick-ups in January 2009, while Rising Sun Pictures denied that they ever had a full copy of the film. Roger Friedman, a columnist for Fox News, reviewed the leaked workprint, adding, “It took really less than seconds to start playing it all right onto my computer,” and his employment was terminated by News Corporation.

Damn they fired his that case.
